Restorative Dentistry

Our expert staff will exam and diagnose any dental concerns, and determine the extent of any damage. We’ll then begin a treatment plan that works for you. Our restorative treatment will restore both the functionality and appearance of your mouth.

Crowns and Bridges

When a tooth is badly damaged and can’t be corrected with bonded filling materials, we may suggest a crown or bridge.

A crown acts as a protective covering for the remaining part of the tooth while making the tooth stronger, fully functional, and beautiful.

A bridge helps cover unwanted, unnatural gaps and spaces in the mouth and protect surrounding teeth. A bridge also looks and acts just like your natural teeth with permanence to it.

Dentures

Dentures may be recommended for people who are missing multiple teeth. They are removable and customizable, and designed to restore your mouth’s function.

Apart from replacing your missing teeth, your dentures will help you speak and eat properly, as well as prevent facial sagging due to missing teeth.

We can complete dentures in just a few visits. Your dentures will be made to look and feel like natural teeth so that you can feel confident every time you smile.

Extractions

In some cases, the best option to ensure your teeth and mouth’s total health and protection is to remove a tooth. An extraction may be recommended in the case of:

  • Significant damage or decay
  • Periodontal or gum disease
  • When it is stuck in the mouth

At Record Dental Center, we make sure the extraction process is comfortable and pain-free. Following an extraction, a replacement may also be recommended in the form of a bridge or an implant.

Fillings

Record Dental Center provides two types of dental fillings:

  • White (composite) fillings
  • Silver (amalgam) fillings

There are different advantages to both options. if you are unsure about which type is right for you or your child, feel free to consult with one of our caring dentist or dental team members during your visit.

Minor Oral Surgery

If your teeth are susceptible to decay or serious damage levels, you may need minor oral surgery. With years of experience, Dr. Record and his incredible team will make the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible.

Endodontic Therapy (Root Canals)

Root canal therapy is needed when a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth, causing an infection of the nerve, or when severe trauma has affected the tooth. Once the pulp has become infected, it must be treated to avoid further issues since it cannot heal by itself.

When endodontic therapy is performed, your dentist will clean out the infected pulp and disinfect the tooth’s canals. Once the area has been disinfected, the tooth’s canals are filled with a special material to prevent further infections and help in the tooth’s healing. Sometimes a core build-up, bonded post, and crown are necessary for restoring a tooth to function.

TMJ Treatment

Temporomandibular Disorder is fairly common, and symptoms include, but are not limited to:

  • Clicking/popping/grating sound from either joint
  • Ringing or fullness in either ear
  • Sore facial, chewing or neck muscles
  • Headaches of unknown
  • Difficulty staying asleep at night
  • Grinding of teeth during the day and/or at night time

Dr. Record will evaluate your condition using a physical examination, radiographs, and/or diagnostic models of your teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Certain foods and drinks like coffee, tea, and alcohol can cause your teeth to stain over time. While teeth whitening is one of the simplest cosmetic dentistry procedures, it is important to consult an experienced, skilled professional. Record Dental Center’s teeth whitening services provide you with a brighter, whiter set of teeth that restores your confidence.
